During the recessions of 1954-61, Ray Kroc opened the first McDonalds franchise and in the midst of Vietnam and the Oil Crisis in the early 70’s, Bill Gates and Paul Allen formed Microsoft. More people are starting businesses now than ever before, but how do you guarantee success, learn the art of entrepreneurship and turn a business into big bucks?

DR BUSINE$$ demystifies the concept of business and what it means to be an entrepreneur. It takes fledgling or financially struggling businesses and provides them with the opportunity to grow. Offering a model for success, tips and tidbits of useful information, this is a television series for the twenty-first century. It’s a show about business in Australia, for Australians, showcasing a range of homegrown enterprises - young, old, new, established, waning, wealthy, slipping and successful – as they face the trials and tribulations all businesses face, forced to flourish or fail, sink or swim, do or die.

Every episode will focus on the journey of a unique business, whether it be a sole trader, not-for-profit organization, retailer, wholesaler or service provider, which requires the aid of Dr Business.
